Where are you looking?

Happy Monday :)

I would like to ask you a question. What are you looking at, reading, and watching these days?

Is what you are watching filling you up or depleting your reserves?

Do you feel encouraged in the morning or are you struggling to get out of bed?

It took four decades for me to realize soul encouragement comes only from reading God‘s word first and letting it dwell in my thoughts, mind, and soul. In other words…. allowing the promises of God to dwell in my mind and lead my day.

The world will try to throw so many things at you from the marketing of products and movies that satisfy you, but everything will come up short compared with our Maker.

It is easy, especially for women, to get consumed with the next piece of cute clothing or the next part of skincare or makeup, but our souls are aching for more Jesus.

I pray today you feel fulfilled. I pray today you feel encouraged. I pray today you feel full of joy… and that you have delight from the very one who loves you perfectly, our Father in heaven.
